Nestled into a metal storage box, the Maintenance Kit contains a sharpening stone, a can of plant-based oil, and a microfiber cloth all used in tandem to maintain and prolong the life of your Opinel knife.  True to Opinel's mission of creating sustainable goods, this clever kit is perfect for keeping your Opinel in tip-top shape for years. 

• Sharpening Stone: 14 x 5 x 1.4cm.  A natural stone sourced in the French Pyrenees. Wet stone before sharpening blades.
• Maintenance Oil: 150ml.  Used to grease blades and the Virobloc® locking ring, handles, and wood cutting boards.
• Microfiber Cloth: 20 x 20cm.  Used for cleaning your Opinel products, applying oil to blades and handles, and wiping clean after maintenance.
